Teradyne Korea is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and long‑term business expansion for our memory test solutions. This role combines strategic sales execution, business development, and close customer engagement with Tier‑1 memory customers in Korea, while collaborating closely with global teams.
Job Responsibility
Drive sales and business development activities for Teradyne’s SSD Storage & memory test solutions in Korea
Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including opportunity identification, qualification, forecasting, quoting, booking, and internal sales back‑end processes
Lead strategic customer engagements and design‑in opportunities with key memory accounts
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with customer needs and Teradyne product roadmaps
Clearly position product value propositions and differentiation against competitors
Coordinate and integrate internal resources across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Global teams
Identify and develop new business opportunities and long‑term growth initiatives
Gather customer and market insights to support product positioning and roadmap discussions
Requirements
5 ~15 years of experience in sales or business development within the semiconductor / memory / ATE industry
Hands‑on experience in global company sales environments, with strong understanding of sales back‑end processes (forecasting, quoting, booking, internal coordination)
Proven strategic business development experience, beyond short‑term quota execution
Solid tester / ATE domain knowledge, gained through sales, applications, product, or engineering experience
Fluent English proficiency (verbal and written) required
Experience managing Tier‑1 memory accounts in Korea is a strong plus
Prior experience in SSD Storage-related sales is strongly preferred
Strong ability to engage customers on both technical and business discussions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Computer Science or related discipline acceptable)
Nice to have
Experience managing Tier‑1 memory accounts in Korea is a strong plus
Prior experience in SSD Storage-related sales is strongly preferred
