The Sales Engineer (SE) is the support of the sales team on opportunities that require its expertise. They are part of the Technical Sales team/ sales team to develop the company’s turnover while ensuring that the solutions offered to customers can be installed and managed during the life of the contract. The SE Works closely with sales teams to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationships. The SE works closely with the Technical Department to propose and validate tailor-made offers in line with customer requests.
Job Responsibility:
Lead technical tours and presentations detailing Data4 datacenter colocation
Technical and financial validation of standard projects before any offer sent to the customer
Constitution of the technical offer of responses to RFI/RFP
Technical validation of projects with the Technical Department
Consolidation of costs concerning the 'standard' offers of projects
Escalation of 'non-standard' needs to the Technical Department
Knowledge of the Data4 product and services portfolio
Be a force of proposal vis-a-vis customers
Customer Defence (CIO)
Attend customer presentations to support the Company's offerings
Assist sales teams in the negotiation of the most significant or specific contracts
Provide ongoing support and control relevant post-sales activities
Support to the Head of Technical Sales
Be a force of proposal on the implementation of new solutions and new services
Ensure that documentation on standard products is available to sales teams

Requirements:
Preferably engineering degree
Technical knowledge of data centers
