This internship is designed to expose you to real-world sales processes, business operations, and cross-functional collaboration within a Carrier-owned company. Throughout this program, you’ll rotate through various departments while supporting our sales efforts, gaining a holistic view of how our business operates. This will be a very immersive experience that will challenge you to develop or sharpen your sales skills, while leveraging your technical acumen. This internship gives insight into a sales engineering career with Carrier and the potential opportunity to join Automated Logic.
Job Responsibility:
Rotate support through Automated Logic Contracting Services departments (Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service)
Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Professionals and customers
Understand the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, including HVAC equipment and building management controls
Be exposed to various facets of Carrier’s businesses: Service, Equipment, Building Automation, Application, Fulfillment, and more
Attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors
Understand and participate in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job
Appreciate the importance of customer relationships as you work with them as a daily point-of-contact, creating a sense of ownership and importance in the solution-making process
Participate in a structured program that will challenge and develop your technical, business, sales, leadership, and communication skills
Requirements:
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a Sales, Engineering, Operations, or any Business field
Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be a US Citizen or able to work in the US without sponsorship
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-driven and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
