This client is a leading provider of energy solutions in Malaysia focus on the delivery of primary equipment and grid solutions. They are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join their Grid Division. You will be responsible for identifying key customers domestically and regionally.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and grow domestic and regional customers within targeted industries like Electric Utilities and EPCs
Interpret electrical drawings and standards to develop optimized, customized solutions for client needs
Manage the sales process from pre-bidding and site walkthroughs until the opportunity becomes a Purchase Order
Actively engage with factories, vendors, and internal engineers to ensure solutions match revenue targets
Maintain a rolling forecast in internal systems while reporting on market successes and technical needs
Proactively identify and connect with new business partners and maintain growth with established clients in the utility and EPC sectors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
3–5 years of experience in the Grid will be preferable
Proven ability to deliver sales pitches, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
Ability to travel overseas for business trips as required
