Job Description:

This client is a leading provider of energy solutions in Malaysia focus on the delivery of primary equipment and grid solutions. They are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join their Grid Division. You will be responsible for identifying key customers domestically and regionally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and grow domestic and regional customers within targeted industries like Electric Utilities and EPCs
  • Interpret electrical drawings and standards to develop optimized, customized solutions for client needs
  • Manage the sales process from pre-bidding and site walkthroughs until the opportunity becomes a Purchase Order
  • Actively engage with factories, vendors, and internal engineers to ensure solutions match revenue targets
  • Maintain a rolling forecast in internal systems while reporting on market successes and technical needs
  • Proactively identify and connect with new business partners and maintain growth with established clients in the utility and EPC sectors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • 3–5 years of experience in the Grid will be preferable
  • Proven ability to deliver sales pitches, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to travel overseas for business trips as required
