Job Description:

Based on identified training needs in the company business segments/global functions, designs and develops sales, technical or leadership/management training materials, including both traditional and media-based deliverables. Works with project teams to assess, design, develop, evaluate and/or acquire content, and assist with the delivery readiness of sales, leadership/management and/or technical training programs. Audiences may include company employees, partners, or customers. Tests and refines course content by delivering pilot training to sample participants; also delivers train-the-trainer programs. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributes to the portfolio management process, which includes needs assessment, solution selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement and innovation of learning solutions
  • Assists with the alignment of development priorities with the needs of the business/functions
  • Tracks and reports monthly and quarterly forecasts against project budgets
  • Participates in cost-benefit and business impact analyses of alternative learning solutions
  • Supports the design and plan of multiple projects
  • Provides leadership to project teams as appropriate
  • Supports achievement of financial goals, operational goals, and assigned metrics.

Requirements:

  • First level university degree
  • advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Typically 3-5 years in a training development role
  • Typically 2-4 years experience, including the management of moderate to large projects
  • Strong facilitation, content design, and consulting skills
  • Strong business and financial planning acumen
  • Strong leadership, communication, change management, relationship management, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new, complex tools, technologies, and systems.
