Based on identified training needs in the company business segments/global functions, designs and develops sales, technical or leadership/management training materials, including both traditional and media-based deliverables. Works with project teams to assess, design, develop, evaluate and/or acquire content, and assist with the delivery readiness of sales, leadership/management and/or technical training programs. Audiences may include company employees, partners, or customers. Tests and refines course content by delivering pilot training to sample participants; also delivers train-the-trainer programs. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
Job Responsibility:
Contributes to the portfolio management process, which includes needs assessment, solution selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement and innovation of learning solutions
Assists with the alignment of development priorities with the needs of the business/functions
Tracks and reports monthly and quarterly forecasts against project budgets
Participates in cost-benefit and business impact analyses of alternative learning solutions
Supports the design and plan of multiple projects
Provides leadership to project teams as appropriate
Supports achievement of financial goals, operational goals, and assigned metrics.
Requirements:
First level university degree
advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience
Typically 3-5 years in a training development role
Typically 2-4 years experience, including the management of moderate to large projects
Strong facilitation, content design, and consulting skills
