The Director of Sales will serve as the strategic architect of the property's commercial success. You will be directly responsible for driving revenue across all streams (Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Events) and maximizing market share within the Prague luxury market and globally. This role demands a proactive, results-driven leader who can build strong B2B relationships, optimize segment performance (Leisure, Corporate, and MICE), and ensure the hotel achieves its financial targets while upholding our commitment to 'Remarkable Service.'
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute an annual strategic sales plan that drives total hotel revenue, increases market share (RGI), and outperforms the competitive set
Proactively drive business from key luxury segments, including corporate accounts, high-end leisure travel agencies, and international MICE partners
Partner closely with the Revenue Management and Reservations teams to optimize distribution channels, forecasting, and pricing strategies
Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with corporate clients, destination management companies, travel planners, and key industry stakeholders
Direct, mentor, and motivate the Sales and Events teams
Set clear KPIs, track performance, and foster a high-performance culture focused on conversion
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in Luxury Hospitality Sales, with at least 2–3 years in a senior sales leadership role (Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager level)
Deep familiarity with the Prague luxury hospitality landscape and a proven portfolio of established local and international B2B clients
Strong background in corporate contracting, trade shows, budgeting, forecasting, and a solid understanding of luxury revenue management
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets and driving business during transition or launch phases
Sophisticated verbal and written command of English
proficiency in Czech or a second European language is highly advantageous
