We are seeking a high-impact Sales Director who thrives in a player/coach environment—someone who can drive revenue growth through both personal sales execution and the leadership, development, and performance of a sales team. This leader combines strong sales acumen, strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and a customer-centric mindset to accelerate growth across the business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Representatives while also maintaining direct involvement with strategic clients, complex opportunities, and key revenue initiatives. You will oversee sales forecasting, performance management, pipeline health, and execution of the sales strategy, while serving as a visible sales leader in the market and a trusted advisor to customers.
Job Responsibility
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives within the property and spatial data space, driving accountability, performance, career growth, and sales excellence
Personally contribute to revenue growth through ownership of strategic accounts, executive-level customer relationships, and participation in high-value sales opportunities
Partner with sales team members on prospecting, opportunity development, negotiations, and closing strategies to accelerate team performance and win rates
Develop and execute sales strategies by leveraging best-practice frameworks, methodologies, and performance metrics to achieve growth objectives
Clearly communicate sales priorities, goals, targets, and expectations while creating alignment across the team
Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional partners to develop local, regional, and divisional initiatives that increase market awareness, generate demand, and support revenue growth
Utilize forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics to identify opportunities, assess risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
Actively recruit, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Serve as a leader in the field by maintaining strong market awareness, cultivating customer relationships, gathering competitive intelligence, and identifying new growth opportunities
Facilitate problem resolution across teams and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and customer outcomes
Develop and refine policies, processes, and sales practices that enhance productivity, scalability, and business performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced degree preferred
7-10 years of directly related experience
5+ years demonstrated experience in a management role
Demonstrated success establishing, leading and maintaining effective working relationships at the Senior Management level.
