Job Description

The Account Team Unit (ATU) Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Microsoft’s most strategic enterprise accounts. You will lead a team of specialists and sellers to deliver business growth, accelerate digital transformation, and build trusted relationships with senior executives. This position requires strong strategic thinking, leadership, and collaboration skills to orchestrate resources across Microsoft and partner ecosystems. As an ATU Manager, you will be accountable for shaping customer transformation journeys, influencing C-level decision-making, and ensuring Microsoft is positioned as a trusted advisor. You will work across multiple solution areas, leveraging cloud, AI, and industry-specific capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that align customer priorities with Microsoft’s business objectives
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, positioning Microsoft as a strategic partner in their digital transformation journey
  • Drive revenue, consumption, and customer satisfaction targets through consultative selling and value-based engagements
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse team of specialists and sellers to achieve excellence and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture
  • Orchestrate resources across solution specialists, customer success managers, engineering teams, and partners to deliver integrated solutions
  • Leverage industry insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging technology trends to shape account strategies and influence product direction
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies, maintain accurate forecasting, and drive disciplined execution across all engagements
  • Promote adoption of Microsoft’s latest technologies, including AI and cloud solutions, to accelerate customer transformation and deliver tangible business outcomes

Requirements

  • Extensive background in enterprise sales leadership and account management, with proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across global organizations
  • Strong business acumen, consultative selling expertise, and ability to lead through ambiguity
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, AI, and digital transformation trends
  • Experience managing virtual teams across geographies
  • Ability to foster collaboration, drive accountability, and create an environment that encourages innovation and growth
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing industry trends and challenges
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch or French
  • Flexibility and readiness for international assignments
