This role involves leading the operational and strategic direction for the North-West region of the UK, managing a £80million P&L, and driving significant growth. Key expectations include developing teams, executing sales strategies, and implementing process transformations while maintaining alignment with demanding private equity expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Complete commercial ownership and management of 4-6 depot locations with circa £80million P&L and £30million EBITDA
Lead, coach, drive and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and 100-150 indirect colleagues, focusing on people development and succession planning
Execute sales strategy to ensure profitable growth across key and target clients
Ensure a safety-first approach driving transformational change in safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery management
Requirements:
Proven experience with a fast-paced manufacturing business, possibly construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals
Leading and developing a team of 5-10 direct and 60+ indirect teams
Management style embodying visibility, approachability, knowledge and accountability
Control of a £20million+ P&L with a strategic focus on profitable growth
Mixture of commercial and operational background with knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, transformational change and M&A integration
