As we enter a new growth cycle with more sophisticated pricing, API-based integrations, new PRO packages, and a consultative sales motion, you play a key role in elevating our SMB commercial ecosystem to the next level. You build a high-performing, data-driven sales organisation that scales with our ambitions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the senior commercial leader for SMBs within Kleinanzeigen PRO, representing the sales organisation at executive level and contributing to company-wide strategy, priorities, and decision-making
  • Define and own the long-term SMB commercial strategy, aligning revenue ambition, market segmentation, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market models with Kleinanzeigen’s overall growth objectives
  • Set the direction for a scalable, data-driven sales organisation by establishing clear success metrics, forecasting standards, performance management frameworks, and governance
  • Build, lead, and develop senior sales leaders and managers
  • Champion the SMB customer voice across the organisation by shaping customer experience, strengthening long-term partnerships, and ensuring retention, loyalty, and lifetime value growth
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product, Tech (P&T), Marketing, Analytics, and Operations

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience
  • Strong track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing sales organisations in SMB, digital, marketplace, tech, or media environments
  • Executive-level leader who can represent sales at senior management level
  • Proven success in defining and executing long-term go-to-market and sales strategies
  • Combines commercial judgment with analytical rigor
  • Experienced in leading leaders and building strong management layers
  • Operates effectively in complex, matrix organisations
  • Customer-focused and value-driven
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Leadership maturity expected of a Director role
