Job Responsibility

  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify, pursue, and close direct sales opportunities with public affairs firms, trade associations, corporate government affairs teams, and issue advocacy organizations
  • Account Growth and Strategy: Develop strategic account plans to expand IQM’s footprint across the public affairs and issue advocacy ecosystem
  • Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor by aligning IQM’s data, platform, and audience capabilities with issue campaign objectives
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Ad Operations, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to support onboarding, campaign execution, post campaign analysis, and client enablement
  • Market and Product Feedback: Gather client insights and competitive intelligence to inform product development and strategic roadmaps
  • Pipeline and Reporting: Maintain accurate deal records, activity tracking, and forecasts in HubSpot

Requirements

  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in ad tech, digital media sales, or programmatic platforms, with strong understanding of data driven campaign execution
  • 4 to 8+ years of experience in public affairs, issue advocacy, corporate government relations, or campaign consulting, with deep familiarity across the full advocacy lifecycle
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed seven figure sales quotas in competitive public affairs or advocacy advertising environments
  • Strong understanding of DSPs, DMPs, stakeholder audience data, issue-based targeting, and measurement within public affairs media
  • Comfortable navigating bipartisan and multi-stakeholder environments and building long term trust with senior decision makers
  • Highly organized, strategic, and motivated by owning outcomes in fast-paced advocacy and policy environments

Nice to have

  • An established network across public affairs firms, trade associations, corporate GR teams, lobbying organizations, and 501(c)(4) advocacy groups
  • Experience selling programmatic, CTV, and data driven media solutions to public affairs and issue advocacy clients
  • Strong working knowledge of lobbying disclosure requirements, 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) compliance, and privacy regulations as they apply to issue advocacy
  • Experience using HubSpot, Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and public affairs research tools
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and advocacy events throughout the year
