Randstad has recently partnered with one of the top cybersecurity distributor in Malaysia. They are looking to hire a Sales Director to join their sales team in KL.
Job Responsibility:
Define and execute the "Go-to-Market" strategy for Malaysia, identifying high-growth sectors (FSI, Enterprise, GLCs) for their specialised portfolio
Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of high-performing sales personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, technical curiosity, and "consultative selling"
Strengthen and expand their local partner ecosystem, ensuring our SIs and Resellers are enabled, motivated, and aligned with our growth targets
Act as the executive sponsor for major accounts, assisting the team in navigating complex procurement cycles and high-value negotiations
Work closely with the Regional HQ to align local activities with broader ASEAN expansion goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years in cybersecurity sales, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership capacity
Proven history of exceeding high annual targets in the Malaysian market
Preferably someone from the cybersecurity distributor or SI environment
Strong familiarity with the Cybersecurity landscape in Malaysia
A robust, active network of decision-makers within FSI and enterprise level companies in Malaysia
Thrive in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
Comfortable with a "flat" hierarchy where your impact is immediate and visible
Professional fluency in English is required
Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is highly preferred
