Randstad has recently partnered with one of the top cybersecurity distributor in Malaysia. They are looking to hire a Sales Director to join their sales team in KL.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and execute the "Go-to-Market" strategy for Malaysia, identifying high-growth sectors (FSI, Enterprise, GLCs) for their specialised portfolio
  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of high-performing sales personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, technical curiosity, and "consultative selling"
  • Strengthen and expand their local partner ecosystem, ensuring our SIs and Resellers are enabled, motivated, and aligned with our growth targets
  • Act as the executive sponsor for major accounts, assisting the team in navigating complex procurement cycles and high-value negotiations
  • Work closely with the Regional HQ to align local activities with broader ASEAN expansion goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years in cybersecurity sales, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Proven history of exceeding high annual targets in the Malaysian market
  • Preferably someone from the cybersecurity distributor or SI environment
  • Strong familiarity with the Cybersecurity landscape in Malaysia
  • A robust, active network of decision-makers within FSI and enterprise level companies in Malaysia
  • Thrive in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
  • Comfortable with a "flat" hierarchy where your impact is immediate and visible
  • Professional fluency in English is required
  • Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is highly preferred
