Randstad is partnering with a global multinational computer and electronics company to appoint a Sales Director to lead its commercial business segment. This role will focus on driving growth across enterprise and institutional markets through strategic sales leadership and strong client engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence within corporate, SME, education, and government sectors, while leading a high-performing sales team and building long-term relationships with major end-user accounts.
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute commercial growth strategies aligned with regional business objectives
Build and manage strategic relationships with enterprise, SME, education, and government end-users to drive revenue growth
Lead and mentor the Commercial Sales team, ensuring strong pipeline development and target achievement
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the B2B customer base
Drive direct corporate and enterprise sales for commercial computing devices, particularly laptops and mobility solutions
Manage and oversee sales processes including pre-tender and post-tender submissions for institutional and government opportunities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy
Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and market insights to senior leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Minimum 15 years of experience in the IT or computer hardware industry, including 10 years in sales leadership roles
Strong experience selling commercial laptops, enterprise devices, or workplace technology solutions directly to corporate customers
Established relationships with enterprise and institutional end-users across Malaysia
Proven track record managing complex B2B sales cycles and large enterprise deals
Experience working with tender processes across enterprise, education, and government sectors
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
