Datacentric is looking to bring in an experienced, customer-driven Sales Director to manage and develop our Emerging and Enterprise accounts in Asia. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Account Management – APAC and will have a significant impact on the growth of our business. Our international environment, direct client communication and portfolio of technically oriented products and services make this position very diverse and challenging.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and drive our business in the region through regular communication with C-suite executives
  • Use all available resources to identify and cultivate sales opportunities to cross-sell and upsell
  • Manage pipeline, revenue forecasts and sales activities to ensure data accuracy
  • Be the link between the client and internal development teams during the product integration phase
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams on presentations, product demos and on-site customer visits
  • Devise new approaches to problems and work with the relevant internal teams on enhancing our capabilities and market reach
  • Contract preparation, creation and submission of proposals, sales information and presentations

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal skills in English and at least one other prominent Asian language, such as Mandarin
  • Comprehensive understanding of data and API products
  • Specific experience in dealing with both B2B and B2C companies
  • Experience in iGaming or bookmaking background (priority)
  • Proven track record of building and managing relationships with senior executives in complex organisations
  • Ability to read people and flexibly adjust your approach
  • Think outside of the box, to anticipate situations and find solutions before they emerge
  • Independent team player – able to manage your own time and tasks
  • Actively support your fellow colleagues
  • Significant regional experience
  • Ability to travel around Asia up to 25% of the time
