Job Description:

As a Sales Development Representative at Atlassian, you will partner with Account Executives to build and maintain a sales pipeline while ensuring a delightful customer experience in coordination with Sales Operations and Marketing teams. This role focuses on outbound prospecting for government-based accounts, qualifying leads through proactive outreach, and developing lead generation strategies. You will work with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator, while contributing to a collaborative, values-driven workplace.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for outbound prospecting and meeting conversion into pipeline primarily for government-based accounts
  • qualifying business leads through proactive outreach and research
  • conducting outreach strategies such as cold calls and emails
  • collaborating with sales, marketing, partner, and operations teams to develop lead generation strategies
  • navigating objections through value-driven messaging
  • articulating the value proposition of products to customers
  • building pipeline in partnership with Account Executives and Marketing teams.

Requirements:

  • Ability to conduct cold calls, emails and other outreach strategies to engage with decision makers
  • ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, partner and operations teams to develop lead generation strategies
  • experience with navigating objections through value-driven messaging
  • ability to articulate the value proposition of products to customers
  • experience in establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • ability to write relevant emails tailored to each customer
  • proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator.
