As a Sales Development Representative at Atlassian, you will partner with Account Executives to build and maintain a sales pipeline while ensuring a delightful customer experience in coordination with Sales Operations and Marketing teams. This role focuses on outbound prospecting for government-based accounts, qualifying leads through proactive outreach, and developing lead generation strategies. You will work with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator, while contributing to a collaborative, values-driven workplace.
Job Responsibility:
Accountable for outbound prospecting and meeting conversion into pipeline primarily for government-based accounts
qualifying business leads through proactive outreach and research
conducting outreach strategies such as cold calls and emails
collaborating with sales, marketing, partner, and operations teams to develop lead generation strategies
navigating objections through value-driven messaging
articulating the value proposition of products to customers
building pipeline in partnership with Account Executives and Marketing teams.
Requirements:
Ability to conduct cold calls, emails and other outreach strategies to engage with decision makers
ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, partner and operations teams to develop lead generation strategies
experience with navigating objections through value-driven messaging
ability to articulate the value proposition of products to customers
experience in establishing communication and engagement with prospects
ability to write relevant emails tailored to each customer
proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator.
