Material Security is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our small, fast growing and highly experienced sales team. The sales development team plays a critical role in Material's growth. As an SDR, you’ll be on the front lines generating pipeline, creating high-quality leads, and shaping first impressions with prospects. You’ll own a targeted list of accounts, design creative outbound campaigns, and partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and the broader GTM team. You’ll get hands-on experience, learn how security buyers think, and build the skills needed to grow into future Account Executive positions over time.
Job Responsibility:
Build sales pipeline by setting introductory meetings and net new opportunities with target influencers and key decision makers
Partner with our experienced Account Executives on territory plans to help fill their sales pipeline
Own outbound prospecting by researching new accounts, personas, and running multi-touch campaigns across phone, email, and social
Test and refine outbound messaging, sequences, and talk tracks
share what’s working
Maintain accurate up to date data in our CRM (Hubspot)
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and the broader GTM team to hit pipeline targets
Requirements:
6+ months in an outbound SDR/BR role and or closely related work experience
SaaS experience or familiarity with selling into technical buyers is a plus
Passionate about technology and software sales and you’re curious about how modern security products work
Energized by a fast-paced startup environment - hungry, ambitious, and excited to build
Comfortable with cold outreach - picking up the phones, sending cold emails, and experimenting with new outbound campaigns
Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ownership over quota, outcomes, and helping the sales team hit their goals

Experience with sales and/or marketing tools including Hubspot, CommonRoom, Nooks, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Phantombuster, etc.
