We’re seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our sales team, with a specific focus on leveraging phone, email, and social networking tools to convert inbound interest into leads. Your Role as SDR… Reporting into our Growth and Performance Manager, you will be based at our Derby Head Office and focused on converting interest in our range of IT & digital apprenticeships, by understanding the needs of the consumer. The individual will develop a clear understanding of our range of services and will become an althaus ambassador.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events
Develop a deep understanding of Althaus’ apprenticeship programmes and effectively communicate their value to prospective clients
Book and coordinate discovery meetings for the sales team with qualified leads
Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system (Hubspot)
Collaborate closely with the marketing and learner recruitment teams to align outreach and campaigns
Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach and lead generation
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months prior B2B experience – sales, customer service or call centre
A proven track record of pro-actively making telephone calls to prospects or clients in a B2B environment
Confidence to work individually whilst playing an active role in both talent team and the business development team
Persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and concepts
Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate CRM systems
Organised with excellent time management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
