Now we’re expanding our New York City office and hiring a Sales Development Representative. In this position, you will play a key role in expanding our US business by identifying and generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound outreach. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, engaging with founders, CTOs, engineering leaders, and other key decision-makers across a diverse range of companies, from innovative startups to established Fortune 500 firms.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, phone, or other communication channels to generate meetings and opportunities
Generate and engage event audiences by identifying, inviting, and qualifying relevant prospects for Vention-hosted industry events and tech meetups
Research and qualify leads by understanding their potential needs, pain points, and growth plans, ensuring alignment with Vention services and ideal client profile
Pre-qualify meetings and/or opportunities for our BD teams to carry forward and close business
Maintain accurate records, logging interactions, and activities as you engage with prospects and customers which include Data cleanup, reporting, and analysis through our CRM system (Salesforce)
Consistently meet or exceed KPIs, including qualified meetings booked and outbound activity targets
Requirements:
2+ years B2B experience in an SDR, business development, or sales focused role
Experience building creative outbound lead generation campaigns
Proven track record in cold calling and email outreach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ability to engage and build rapport quickly
ability to communicate with c-suite executives
Nice to have:
Experience in software development companies/IT services companies
Consultative and solution selling experience
