We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and helping to drive pipeline growth. This role is ideal for a high-energy individual with a passion for sales, a strong ability to engage prospects, and an interest in the public safety and SaaS industries.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in our solutions
Identify and qualify potential customers based on defined criteria, ensuring they are a good fit for our product
Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives to help move prospects further down the sales funnel
Accurately log and track all activities, conversations, and opportunities in Hubspot (or other CRM tools)
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, develop campaigns, and optimize lead conversion
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best sales practices to improve outreach effectiveness
Requirements:
1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive and engaging approach
Ability to handle objections and rejection and to continuously improve through feedback
Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), sales automation tools, and sales engagement tools
Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales, lead generation, and relationship-building
Strong organizational and time management skills
A results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding goals
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
