Job Description:

Whatnot is the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe. As a French-speaking Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for growing our seller pipeline and ensuring that we meet the needs of our buyers on Whatnot. You're a fast learner and self-starter energized by talking to people, solving challenges, and finding the next big sellers to bring onto Whatnot.

Job Responsibility:

Grow seller pipeline and ensure buyer needs are met
Deeply understand end-to-end sales process and collaborate with team to bring high potential sellers
Prospect, identify, and qualify top sellers that are a good fit
Identify seller needs and solve gaps with creative outreach strategy & discovery including email copy, warm/cold calls, social media outreach, and in-person events
Develop relationships with sellers and work with internal teams to drive growth
Grow into Account Executive and Sales Manager as European team grows

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Fluent French and English speaker with deep understanding of the French market
Passion for Whatnot's mission
Curiosity and fast learning ability
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and organizational and time management skills
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to assess seller fit
Resiliency through sales process
Excitement about cultural principles and high-growth environment

Nice to have:

Experience with Salesforce or any CRM system
1-2 Years of customer-facing experience
Experience working on a marketplace or two-sided platform
Passion for creator communities, existing product categories on Whatnot, and/or new verticals uniquely suited for live e-commerce
