Join Newsela as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and support our sales growth by qualifying leads and building pipeline for the Sales team through research, outreach, and online product demonstrations. As the initial point of contact with prospects, you’ll represent the future of education, enhancing how districts and teachers engage students, and helping provide approaches that allow educators to design customized learning for different levels of reader.
Job Responsibility:
prospecting leads through calls and emails
responding to inbound inquiries
conducting product demonstrations
collaborating with the sales team to inform strategies and processes for enhanced performance
researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads to build pipeline
providing online product demonstrations
identifying key needs that lead to qualified opportunities
Requirements:
1+ years of lead generation or inside sales experience
familiarity with Salesforce and sales platforms
excellent communication skills
ability to understand and empathize with buyer challenges
background in sales processes and pipeline management
creative approach to teamwork
pipeline generation experience including engaging prospects through email and phone conversations
ability to establish clear value propositions
