Campfire is looking for a driven, high-energy Sales Development Representative to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of direct SDR experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and is looking for a clear path to become an Account Executive. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects—owning inbound leads and driving qualified pipeline through targeted outbound outreach. You'll work closely with finance and operations leaders, helping them understand how Campfire can transform their workflows.
Job Responsibility:
Own and manage all inbound leads — fast, thoughtful follow-up via phone and email
Qualify inbound meetings to ensure alignment and readiness before handing off to AEs
Run targeted outbound prospecting (email, cold calls, social) to key personas in finance and ops
Identify and engage decision-makers and key stakeholders
Take intro and discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and evaluate fit
Maintain clean and detailed records of outreach and activity in HubSpot (and/or Apollo)
Collaborate with Account Executives on messaging, lead handoff, and deal prep
Stay sharp on our product and industry to communicate value clearly
Help iterate on outbound campaigns and lead generation tactics as we scale
Requirements:
1–2 years of direct SDR experience in B2B SaaS
Strong experience managing and qualifying inbound leads
Comfortable cold calling and running high-volume outreach
Confident communicator — written, verbal, and over video
Organized and self-motivated with strong follow-through
Experience with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar sales engagement tools is a plus
Nice to have:
Experience selling to finance or operations teams
