Job Description:

FT Professional licenses FT content to organisations across corporate, finance, government, professional services, education and media sectors. As a Sales Development Representative for Southern Europe and MENA, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by pre-qualifying leads and supporting the regional field sales team. Based in London, this role requires proactive outbound prospecting, close collaboration with sales and marketing, and a strong understanding of the FT Professional value proposition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prospect and build a strong sales pipeline for the field sales team through outbound calling and email outreach
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Research and engage with potential budget holders and decision-makers
  • Pre-qualify leads and schedule appointments or call-backs for the field sales team
  • Assign qualified opportunities to field sales colleagues for further development and closure
  • Gather feedback from sales managers to agree next steps and improve lead quality
  • Contact existing readers to collect testimonials and supporting evidence for proposals
  • Act as a bridge between marketing and sales, collaborating on campaign activity to improve lead generation
  • Accurately record prospect interactions in the CRM system
  • Produce weekly activity and performance reports, including challenges and successes
