Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Senior Associate, Business Cards & Payments Location: Plano, TX - Hybrid Level: Senior Associate Type: Non Exempt - Hourly Work Schedule & Shift Requirements: Initial Training Period:New hires will work a standard schedule of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST during training and onboarding. West Coast Coverage:Upon completion of training, this role will participate in a team rotation to support the West Coast territory. During assigned rotation periods, work hours will be 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST. Within the Capital One Business Cards & Payments Team, our Sales Development Representative team works to help businesses of all sizes manage expenses, earn rewards, and streamline financial operations. Through a consultative approach, we are able to help business owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive from their Business Card products. We are committed to helping customers leverage our tools to lower the stress of financial management and increase the profitability of the bottom line. Capital One offers a suite of card solutions. Across the business card portfolio, Capital One provides a range of benefits and tools to help businesses manage their finances: Employee Cards: Businesses can get free employee cards and set individual spending limits to control and monitor expenses. Account Management: Online and mobile tools allow for easy tracking of spending, viewing transactions, and downloading records. Security: Features like $0 fraud liability, fraud alerts, and the ability to lock a card help protect the business from unauthorized charges. Vendor Payments: Some solutions may include features for simplifying accounts payable and making vendor payments. What You’ll Do As a member of our Sales Development Representative Team, you will be a proactive "hunter" responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business leads for Capital One's business card products. You will play a critical role in expanding our brand presence and driving growth by: Prospecting and cold calling businesses to generate new sales opportunities for our card portfolio. Vetting and qualifying business leads for one of Capital One’s various business card solutions and setting appointments for dedicated Relationship Managers to follow up and conduct a thorough needs analysis. Serving as a dedicated point of contact for prospective Business Card Customers, assisting them in identifying and utilizing the right product to meet their current and future business needs. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and serving as a strong advocate for our customers. Thriving working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, acquiring and maintaining high levels of product, service, and process knowledge. Being innovative, highly organized, and having a measurable, demonstrated ability to drive business results while delivering superior service to our customers. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in business development or outbound sales generating new leads through cold calling and prospecting

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • 3+ years of acquisitions or outbound sales experience, with a focus on new business generation
  • 2+ years of experience working with small or medium-sized business customers
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry
