The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth across a defined segment or product. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers through inbound and outbound prospecting. By uncovering client needs, educating prospects, and generating qualified opportunities, the SDR directly contributes to pipeline development and overall revenue performance. The position requires strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Job Responsibility:
Generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting
Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients
Create and execute outreach sequences
Engage existing customers to identify cross-sell or expansion opportunities
Educate and nurture leads
Maintain accurate lead and activity data in CRM
Collaborate with Account Executives
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other teams
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development
Requirements:
Experience in a sales development, business development, or outbound commercial role
Fully proficient in Norwegian language
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote-friendly environment
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets
Comfortable working autonomously
Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong growth orientation
Strong written communication skills
Experience in HR tech, fintech, or high-growth startup environments is beneficial but not required
