You will be part of our Starting Off in Sales Program, a structured, 12-month development program designed to launch early-career talent into B2B sales. This role is ideal if you have little or no prior sales experience but are motivated to build a career in FinTech and B2B Sales. Through hands-on experience, structured enablement, and continuous coaching, you’ll rapidly build the foundations needed to progress into more advanced sales roles. As a Sales Development Associate, you will play a key role in driving Mollie’s growth in Germany by generating new business opportunities, engaging potential customers, and qualifying leads for the sales team.
Job Responsibility:
Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers
Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on need, budget, and timing
Book and qualify meetings for the sales team
Maintain accurate records and pipeline data in the CRM
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach strategies
Gradually lead discovery calls and support early-stage opportunities
Work toward clear activity and performance targets with commission-based incentives
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and enablement throughout the program
Requirements:
Recent graduate (or comparable) and have up to 1 year of professional experience
Fluent in German and English
Curious and ask “why” until you truly understand how businesses work
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Resilient and able to handle rejection
Prefer consultative, win-win conversations over hard selling
Comfortable with numbers and basic commercial logic
Enjoy learning new tools and technologies (CRM, fintech, SaaS)
