Job Description:

Sales Department Manager (Shopkeeper) position at IKEA North Lakes, responsible for optimizing sales and profitability, leading a team, and ensuring excellent customer experience in a retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Optimising sales and profitability by taking ownership of the range
Actively promoting IKEA commercial priorities and volume commitments
Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback
Keeping active eye on competition, supply and performance analysis
Ensuring shop is in excellent shape and fully stocked at all times
Creating environment of trust with team and colleagues
Providing inspiring and motivating direction for co-workers
Supporting manager in recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development
Actively supporting co-workers in daily work
Developing, coaching and mentoring team

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years retail leadership
Passionate about home furnishing
Love sales
Desire to lead and motivate your own team
Business-minded and result-driven with strong customer focus
Previous experience managing and leading a retail store or large home furnishing business
Demonstrated success in driving sales growth
Energetic leadership style
Ability to influence and communicate effectively
Rapid customer-focused problem solving
