Job Responsibility:
Effectively utilises software applications and communication tools used to facilitate collection and cataloguing of market information for generating sales leads and sales
Effectively manages processes and systems that enable Sales to be generated and guests to be accommodated to highest standards
Effectively utilises property management software to monitor preferences of Hotel Guests and produce appropriate Sales and Promotional strategies
Ensures all enquiries are responded to, accurate quotations generated and sent within specified time frame
Ensures Revenue Reports, Daily Pick-Up reports, Sales Activity, Strategy Adjustment reports are accurately produced
Takes responsibility for performance of Sales functions of the hotel
Attends trade shows and Sales events to showcase Group to market
Ensure annual planner is kept up to date re sales meeting minutes
Assist with travel arrangements
Provide administrative support on a one-to-one basis
Assist managers by dealing with administrative tasks
Liaise with clients, suppliers and other staff
Devise and maintain office systems including data management, filing
Arrange travel and accommodation and occasionally travel with manager to provide assistance during presentation
Comply with company safety regulations, rules, policies, procedures
Perform other tasks as directed by line manager
Ability to work as part of diverse team
Ensure world-class service is delivered to Guest by collaborating with 3rd Party Distributors
Ensures policies, processes and standards affecting Guests reflect safety and security concerns
Assists with implementation and monitoring of processes ensuring highest levels of confidentiality and security of information
Supports environment contributing to positive employee engagement
Promote compliance of health, safety and security issues
Works to ensure REVPAR targets are consistently achieved or surpassed
Looks for opportunities to prevent damage of equipment and reduce consumption of stock without affecting quality
Works to ensure Sales, Up/Cross-sell targets are consistently achieved
Helps reduce cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business
Requirements:
3 Years of experience in the Sales operations of a luxury hotel
Proficient user of OPERA
Proficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
Hospitality Management Qualification or relevant prior experience
Extensive Background in Sales
