Job Description

Ian Williams has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our passionate in-house Business Development team, based in Newbury focussing on the South East region. This role is hybrid working 3 days in the Newbury office, 2 days working from home.

Job Responsibility

  • Research, generate and maintain a flow of opportunities for Ian Williams
  • Communicating daily over the phone, making calls to key decision makers (existing, lapsed, and new clients) across the UK to successfully secure appointments for our local operational units to attend
  • Develop and consistently build relationships internally with Business Managers and the wider Business Development team, as well as externally with prospective and existing clients
  • Take ownership and accountability for maintaining an accurate and up to date CRM system

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a sales and/or a customer service targeted environment
  • someone who can build relationships up with ease and work on their own initiative. This could be gained from a sales, account management, or any customer service focused role that specifically requires you to build long term relationships
  • You’ll describe yourself as an effective communicator with an engaging telephone manner, someone who is genuinely passionate about delivering a high level of customer service internally and externally
  • You’ll have a keen interest in construction, maintenance and/or refurbishments
  • A focused, engaging, flexible, driven person and, most importantly, a team player
  • A whole lot of resilience with the strength of character and the determination to succeed
