Midwest Communications, Inc is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our radio station sales team in Knoxville, TN. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, provide administrative and operational support to the sales and promotions teams, learn core sales systems, and assist with remote broadcasts and station events. This role offers hands-on exposure to radio advertising, client service, promotions, and sales operations.
Job Responsibility
Serve as a liaison between the sales team, clients, traffic, programming, and business departments
Assist with proposal preparation, presentation materials, and sales support documents
Coordinate advertising orders, sponsorship details, and promotional campaigns
Ensure accurate communication and execution of client advertising schedules
Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Help coordinate station promotions, remote broadcasts, and client events
Provide general administrative support to sales and promotions departments
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
Motivated to pursue a career in sales and willing to learn the skills necessary for long-term success
Strong knowledge and passion for sports
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Social media content creation and engagement experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
