Job Description:

The Sales Controller will play a pivotal role within the Finance team, contributing to the accurate and timely financial reporting for Mowi USA RMT. This position will be responsible for the preparation of operational and financial accounting reports for month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. The Sales Controller will also focus on ensuring consistency across accounting processes and driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments, while preparing the monthly reporting package for Mowi USA RMT
  • Contribute to the development of the Annual Budget and Long-Term Plan
  • Accurately record daily accounts receivable transactions
  • Monitor and manage aged accounts receivable, ensuring prompt follow-up on overdue amounts
  • Oversee the timely and precise invoicing of customers
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred or possess equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience or comparable hands-on practical experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and accounting software
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality work
  • Willingness to work extended hours and take initiative when required

Nice to have:

Familiarity with M3, HFM, and Medius software is a valuable asset
