This role reports to the Sales Manager and General Manager. It focuses on selling digital subscriptions, AI tools, and event tickets to law firms, academia, and libraries, with a monthly target.
Job Responsibility
Drive Field-Based B2B Sales: Actively manage the full sales cycle through a proactive, on-ground approach
Conduct site visits, attend face-to-face client meetings, and travel across Peninsular and East Malaysia
Consultative & Solution Selling: Understand client pain points to pitch digital research solutions, professional publications, and enterprise services
Manage Dual-Client Portfolios: Engage the Legal Sector (senior partners, independent practitioners, law firms) and the Corporate Sector (in-house legal teams, compliance officers, C-suite decision-makers)
Data-Driven Account Management: Execute a strategic approach to map potential accounts, upsell existing clients, and exceed commercial targets
On-Ground Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador to secure high subscription retention rates
Requirements
3 years’ relevant experience in Sales with proven track record
Publishing, legal content research or professional sales background would be advantageous
