Job Description

Worldwide Incentive Compensation (WWIC) is the team at Microsoft that is responsible for the design, implementation and operations related to the sales and incentive plans across all of Microsoft, impacting more than 40,000 employees. The Seller Experience team within WWIC is a dynamic, collaborative team that is responsible for effectively landing messages around key incentive compensation initiatives. The Sales Compensation Manager - Communications will be creating detailed content for use by sellers and the functions that support them, including help desk and operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Develops sales manager and seller training and readiness programs
  • Develops communication plans in partnership with communication teams and business stakeholders
  • Creates externally facing presentations and other digital-based content for sellers, business partners, sales leaders, and executives
  • Authors clear and concise communications to simplify complex business and technology topics related to incentive compensation
  • Holds accountability for running and managing ongoing programs within their stakeholder group(s)
  • Manages rhythm of the business (ROB) for landed features

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field AND 5+ years experience in compensation, business management and operations, finance and analytics, human resources and people analytics, marketing, or sales strategy OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience working in a matrixed organization, preferably in the technology industry
  • 1+ year(s) of project leadership/management experience
  • Experience in communications and content development
  • Experience distilling complex information into stories and messages that can be easily understood
