Job Description

The Sales Commission and Compensation Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for working in collaboration with various functional teams to ensure the provision of sales commission programs and models that allow timely and accurate payment to all employees on a sales bonus plan according to the annual sales plan policy.

Job Responsibility

  • Contributes to the development of sales commission programs and models for the sales organisation
  • Administer and recommend industry best practices regarding bonus programs, sales compensation plans, compensation systems and compensation procedures, policies and regulations
  • Performs administrative activities related to sales compensation reporting
  • Responsible for implementing enhancements to the sales bonus portal as aligned to business requirements
  • Studies labour markets to determine compensation trends and related benchmark data
  • Responsible for compensation data collection and preparation
  • Conduct audits and analyse compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
  • Provides input into and assists with the implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies
  • Prepares and files reports which they import and export from the sales compensation system and relevant databases

Requirements

  • Seasoned analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complex data
  • Strong relationship building abilities
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Displays a seasoned understanding of the business requirements
  • Seasoned knowledge of compensation, bonus and commission plans for sales industry
  • Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, to perform well under pressure and to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or finance or a related field
  • Seasoned relevant experience in similar role within a related environment
  • Seasoned experience in automated sales commissions systems and their set-up and operation is a plus
  • Seasoned experience dealing with stakeholders
  • Seasoned experience in administering sales commissions / bonus / compensation plans
