Job Description

As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. Process product knowledge and confidently recommend relevant add-on items that complement customers’ primary purchases, supporting increased attachment rates and overall basket value. Maintain add-on product areas to ensure they are fully stocked, accurately priced, clean, and presented in an accessible, customer-friendly manner. Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth. Maintaining a clean and organised sales area, ensuring all products are properly priced and fully stocked. Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, replenishment, standing for extended periods)
  • Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
  • Can work with a strong sense of urgency while adapting effectively to change in a fast-paced team environment
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks and are comfortable with on-the-job physical activity
  • Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience
  • A friendly attitude and are comfortable with connecting and interacting with people.
