Job Description

As a Sales Co-worker, you’ll help create an inspiring and seamless shopping experience for our customers. Working across Showroom and Markethall departments, you’ll combine customer interaction with hands-on store tasks.

Job Responsibility

Approaching customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable home furnishing solutions
Actively selling the IKEA range and promoting services to enhance the customer experience
Keeping your area clean, well-stocked, organised and correctly priced
Maintaining and refreshing displays through basic visual merchandising and stock condensing
Replenishing stock and preparing sales spaces using safe manual handling techniques
Assembling products to ensure strong presentation and functionality
Using IKEA systems to provide accurate product information and support order placement
Working collaboratively with your team and other departments to deliver great results

Requirements

A warm, approachable and confident communication style
A strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work independently
A collaborative mindset and enjoy working as part of a team
Good organisation skills and attention to detail
Comfort with physical work, including manual handling and maintaining displays
A genuine interest in home furnishings and customer experience
Background in retail, customer service or showroom sales
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Confidence in supporting sales and achieving targets or KPIs
