Job Responsibility:
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth
Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range
and actively learning about their features and benefits
Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced
Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Requirements:
Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience
A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks
Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools
A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting
