Job Responsibility
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions
Process product knowledge and confidently recommend relevant add-on items that complement customers’ primary purchases, supporting increased attachment rates and overall basket value
Maintain add-on product areas to ensure they are fully stocked, accurately priced, clean, and presented in an accessible, customer-friendly manner
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth
Maintaining a clean and organised sales area, ensuring all products are properly priced and fully stocked
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Requirements
Previous retail experience preferred
Experience of working in a customer and commercial oriented business
Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, replenishment, standing for extended periods)
Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
Confident in approaching and talking to people in a proactive manner
Can work with a strong sense of urgency while adapting effectively to change in a fast-paced team environment
Able to prioritise multiple tasks and are comfortable with on-the-job physical activity
Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience
A friendly attitude and are comfortable with connecting and interacting with people
