Job Responsibility:
Being passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
Understanding customer needs and providing your expert range knowledge to support buying decisions
Actively selling IKEA products, always in a curious, friendly, and helpful way
Understanding the department goals and proactively contributing to growth
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments
Maintaining your department so it’s clean, organised & tidy, accurately priced, and ready to shop
Physical activity such as lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring of stock which varies in size and weight, and working low to the floor or up a ladder at times
Requirements:
A strong interest in home furnishing and life at home
Confident communication skills with experience working in retail, sales, hospitality, or another customer facing role
Driven to meet goals and able to prioritise & complete multiple tasks in a high-volume customer facing environment
Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range and services with customers
Comfortable with on-the-job physical activity and safe manual handling
Ability to work collaboratively with your team as well as independently
An adaptable and flexible approach to change
