Sales Co-worker

• Assisting customers and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions
• actively selling products by engaging with customers to meet their needs and contribute to business goals and growth
• being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range
• and actively learning about their features and benefits
• responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced
• assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality
• building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• Passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product and service range features and benefits with customers
• experience working in a retail sales environment is desirable
• a ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
• strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you can understand the customer's needs and build strong relationships
• an authentic approach in actively selling and self-motivated to meet sales targets
• you prioritise safe work practices and you are comfortable with a physical workload and regular manual handling
• a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, always with the customer in mind
• IT systems capability with an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range, tools, and systems.

Experience working in a retail sales environment is desirable

• $27.35 base hourly pay rate
