Job Description:

Sales Co-worker role at IKEA Tempe, responsible for ensuring sales areas are well-stocked and presented, assisting customers, being an IKEA product expert, and contributing to a collaborative working environment. Kitchen planning specific roles involve designing kitchen solutions and supporting customers throughout their kitchen design journey.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure sales areas are always stocked, well-presented, attractively merchandised, and correctly priced
Assist customers in understanding their needs and actively selling the IKEA range
Be an IKEA product and service expert
Prepare sales spaces for replenishment by condensing stock using safe manual handling techniques
Assemble IKEA products according to proper assembly methods and instructions
Build strong relationships with team and departments across the store

Requirements:

A passion for home furnishings and sharing the IKEA range
Energised by meeting many visitors daily with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable approach
High level communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Authentic approach to generating sales
Professional, self-motivated approach towards achieving sales targets and KPIs
'Togetherness' mindset with ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively
Curious and self-driven learner with proficient computer skills
Ability to learn technical aspects of IKEA range and digital planning tools
Prioritise safe work practices
Comfortable with physical work and regular manual handling

Nice to have:

Kitchen planning experience
Experience with kitchen design software
Ability to design inspiring and practical kitchen solutions
