Joseph Ash Chesterfield is looking to recruit a Sales Co-ordinator to support the Commercial Manager. Coordinating customer orders, and ensuring smooth communication between internal departments and clients. The primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction, assist with the sales process, and help drive business growth to achieve or exceed budget targets.
Job Responsibility:
Making telephone sales calls to both “cold” and “warm” prospective customers
Seek out new business leads using various means including using existing data base, internet & social media
Make customer service calls to customers to manage queries on orders, difficulties etc
Maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients
Follow up on client enquiries, providing timely updates on order status, pricing, and deliveries
Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and ensure high satisfaction levels
Maintaining and updating records in Customer management system, following up quotations
Coordinate order processing, working closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of orders meets customer promises given
Prepare and send quotes to clients
Assist the Commercial Manager in managing customer accounts and tracking orders
Compile and maintain sales documentation, including contracts, invoices, and communications
Assist in generating sales reports, tracking KPIs, and analysing sales performance
Support the Commercial Manager with market research, customer feedback, and competitor analysis
Track and report sales data, updating customer records in the CRM system
Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the sales coordination and customer service process
Assist in developing new sales strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Experience in a sales role, customer service or administrative roles, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Confident in meeting customers on phone and face to face
Passionate and self-motivated about driving sales forward with the ability to work under pressure
Customer focussed and able to provide high levels of customer service with great communication skills both verbally and in writing
Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities with good mathematical skills including a clear understanding of sizes and dimensions
Good Listener, ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organised with good time management skills & ability to multi-task and prioritise
Good levels of ability in Microsoft Word and Excel, Teams etc.
