As our Sales Business Partner – Central Italy, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and developing our travel agency network across the region. You’ll manage a dedicated portfolio of travel agencies across Central Italy, becoming their strategic reference point and trusted partner. Job Responsibility:
Lead the commercial development of the assigned territory
Become the primary point of reference for travel agencies
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Booking, Administration, and Customer Service
Provide insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations to support key business decisions
Develop sales in the assigned geographical area and ensure target achievement
Deliver service excellence to travel agencies according to the Service Model
Track activities through the CRM
Analyze portfolio performance and support the Area Manager in taking critical decisions
Acquire in-depth knowledge of Costa’s product offering
Conduct impactful sales presentations
Identify opportunities to sell, upsell, and cross-sell
Maintain ongoing communication with travel agencies
Support travel agencies daily to ensure customer satisfaction, collect feedback, address issues, and provide operational assistance
Develop and implement local sales strategies
Manage a co-marketing budget
Plan and execute micro-marketing activities
Contribute to expanding the distribution network
Ensure consistency in the application of Costa’s commercial guidelines
Monitor KPIs
Prepare reporting materials
Manage sales workflows
Act as the focal point for issue resolution
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and timely responses
Navigate the complexities of a fast-paced environment
Adapt quickly to market changes
Support partners with professionalism and empathy
Demonstrate strong leadership through influence
Guide travel agency partners
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
3/5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the tourism industry
Proven track record in managing a client portfolio and achieving sales targets
Fluency in Italian and English
Proactive, empathetic, and equipped with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong relational skills, excellent presence, and the ability to act as a trusted focal point
Analytical, flexible, and comfortable working under pressure
Strong motivation and a results-oriented approach
Valid driver’s license
Availability to travel within the assigned area
