We’re hiring a Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth for a rapidly expanding Data Center Solutions division within a respected power generation and infrastructure provider. This high-impact role is perfect for a technically savvy, relationship-driven sales professional who understands data centers, mission-critical power, and resilient infrastructure. You’ll open doors, build strategic partnerships, and secure new contracts with data center operators nationwide — all while working fully remote with up to 50% travel.
Job Responsibility:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the data center market
Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets
Conduct technical presentations and solution discussions related to power generation, facilities services, and renewable energy solutions
Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop tailored customer solutions
Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in accordance with company guidelines
Travel 30–50% nationwide to meet customers, attend trade shows, and build industry presence
Track opportunities, forecasts, and performance metrics in CRM/ERP systems
Play a key role in shaping the early growth of this division, with future opportunity to help grow the sales team
Requirements:
3+ years of experience selling into data centers and/or mission-critical power environments
Background in power generation, facilities management, critical infrastructure, or renewable energy solutions
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex power systems
Experience developing new accounts and expanding strategic partnerships
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote, travel-heavy role
Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
