Groupon is seeking a German-speaking Business Developer to join their team in Valencia. The role focuses on acquiring new business partners across various industries in Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Ruhr area, Cologne/Düsseldorf) and helping them unlock their potential with Groupon. The position involves a fast-paced, high-energy environment with no two days the same.
Job Responsibility:
New business acquisition: proactively identify new partners and build relationships over the phone to set up fixed appointments
Contract negotiation: handle sales meetings remotely and negotiate cooperation contracts
Onboarding success: ensure smooth start for new partners with internal quality checks
Salesforce management: manage pipeline and activities in Salesforce
Brand ambassador: contribute to Groupon's growth and strengthen positive reputation
Requirements:
German language fluency (C1 or native)
Strong communication skills
Results-driven and target-oriented
Sales skills
Ability to identify new business partners and build relationships
Experience in contract negotiation
Ability to manage pipeline and activities in Salesforce
Willingness to work from Valencia office
