Job Description:

Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, the Sales Associate role focuses on ensuring an enjoyable and successful shopping experience while contributing to increased sales and customer satisfaction. The role entails active interaction with customers, maintaining the store's presentation and stock, and fostering knowledge and passion for IKEA products.

Job Responsibility:

Actively approach customers who require additional help, identify needs and advise on best solutions to exceed expectations
ensure the shop is in excellent shape, fully stocked, and presents the IKEA product range in inspiring ways
use IKEA sales and communication channels effectively for different customers
keep the area clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, ensuring merchandising standards
convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn and share knowledge

Requirements:

Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
passion for selling, reaching goals and benefiting IKEA customers
interest in home furnishing, people’s life at home, and the IKEA product range
knowledge of the local market and business conditions
understanding of store operations, range presentation, and in-store logistics the IKEA way
enjoyment of a fast-paced and future-oriented environment focused on people's everyday life at home
