Sales Associate

• Use different IKEA sales and communication channels for different customers
• keep updated on products and in-store services/promotions to help customers make informed choices
• approach and listen to customers to provide in-depth product knowledge
• assess customers’ needs, provide information and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction
• ensure home furnishing areas are clean, tidy, items displayed and fully stocked
• steer top-selling and prioritized products to maximize sales
• respond quickly to commercial opportunities
• analyze activity performance and improve future planning
• tidy up the store and return loose articles to respective areas.

• Interest in home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home
• experience of working in a fast-paced environment, customer-focused and service industry
• strong understanding of what excellent customer service looks like and good problem-solving skills
• ability to handle customer enquiries
• good attention to details and ability to prioritise and organise work efficiently
• physically fit, enjoys physical work and retail hours
• able to commit to working on shift work, weekends and public holidays
• good sales experience and ability to actively sell through understanding of customer’s needs
• strong knowledge in Microsoft Office and good computer knowledge
• able to commit 3 months for the role.
