The Sales Associate (SA) contributes and supports the overall sales functions of the community. The primary purpose of the SA role is to execute sales processes and tactics to inspire prospective residents to move into the community. The SA provides support with new inquiries, and existing inquiries with the goal of converting these leads to move-ins to achieve occupancy targets.
Job Responsibility:
Answers inbound sales calls
Greets tours and escorts to the Discovery Room
Manages the customer relationship management system
Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
Assists in visiting model apartment(s) and tour path
Makes outbound calls to prospects
Monitors sales collateral inventory
Organizes, coordinates, and assists in planning sales events
Conducts tours as needed
Administers the “UPs” log
Leads coordination and execution of all sales acceleration programs
Promotes the Resident Referral and Ambassador Program
Organizes and manages the “Be Our Guest” Program
Reviews and facilitates Move-In paperwork
Facilitates and coordinates the Resident Assessment with the clinical team
Oversees and manages the move-in process
Champion “Red Carpet” move-in process
Ensures all state mandated paperwork is completed
Coordinates resident’s Administrative Files
Requirements:
Associates degree preferred
One (1) years’ experience in an administrative sales or customer service role
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve problems
Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to use email and navigate the Internet
Ability to use a customer relationship management system
Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population
Engages with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner
Supports organization's goals and values

Exceptional telephone, administration, and customer service skills
