Job Responsibility

create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
maintain merchandise presentation including stock arrangement and store cleanliness
develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
maintain an awareness of loss prevention concerns
participate in inventories, shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
process all sales and POS terminal transactions accurately according to policy
ensure cash control and accuracy of sales transactions

Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior retail sales experience preferred
ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally
basic mathematical skills
awareness of retail sales policies and procedures
ability to maintain store presentation standards
availability to work part-time hours including weekends
physical ability to handle inventory tasks and standing for extended periods
interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and all levels of employees
basic communication, organization, and math skills
experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
basic knowledge of the policies and procedures
basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
