Job Responsibility:

  • create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
  • maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
  • maintain merchandise presentation including stock arrangement and store cleanliness
  • develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
  • maintain an awareness of loss prevention concerns
  • participate in inventories, shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
  • process all sales and POS terminal transactions accurately according to policy
  • ensure cash control and accuracy of sales transactions

Requirements:

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior retail sales experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally
  • basic mathematical skills
  • awareness of retail sales policies and procedures
  • ability to maintain store presentation standards
  • availability to work part-time hours including weekends
  • physical ability to handle inventory tasks and standing for extended periods
  • interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and all levels of employees
  • basic communication, organization, and math skills
  • experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
  • basic knowledge of the policies and procedures
  • basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards
