This ASSOCIATE role's main responsibility is to ensure an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience that leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability. He/she also ensures satisfied customers, develop and execute sales steering and selling the IKEA way.

Identify customer needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes
Ensure the shop is in excellent shape, fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics in place
Ensure the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers
Understand how to use the different IKEA sales and communication channels
Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
Ensure IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place
Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits
Share product knowledge with customers and colleagues
Requirements:
Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
Passion for selling, reaching goals and getting the best for IKEA customers
Highly interested in home furnishing, people’s life at home, and the IKEA product range
Capable of quickly developing in-depth knowledge of the local market and business conditions
Understand the local market and competition
Understand store operations, range presentation, and in-store logistics the IKEA way
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment
